O.E.B. OFFIONG, ESQ, SAN
Our principal Partner, Offiong E. B. OFFIONG ESQ (SAN) is an alumnus of Nigeria’s leading institution, the University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he bagged the LL.B(Honours) Degree. He was subsequently enrolled as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in July 1980 and appointed and Sworn in as Notary Public for Nigeria in December, 1987. He was admitted to the Inner Bar and conferred with the eminent rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2010.
He also holds an International Practice Diploma in Arbitration, which is recognized by the International Bar Association. He has also undertaken Training in Public Private Partnership Organised by Jeff & O’ Brien Training International in September, 2008.
Mr. Offiong had served the one year compulsory National Youth Service in Kano with the Legal Aid Council from 1980-1981. Thereafter, he worked with the firm of Messrs J. B. Majiyagbe, &Company from 1981- 1986 before proceeding to establish this Law Office. He has a robust record of having undertaken numerous cases and diverse legal matters for his institutional, corporate and individual clients across Nigeria.
DR. G. O. A. OGUNYOMI
Dr. George OlusholaAyobami Ogunyomi is an alumnus of the prestigious University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) Ile-Ife where he obtained the Barchelor of Laws Honours,Masters of Law and Doctorate in Jurisprudence respectively. He was called to the Nigerian Bar and enrolled as a Legal Practitioner in the Supreme Court of Nigeria in July 1980.
Dr. Ogunyomi commenced his professional career at the New Nigeria Development Company of Nigeria Limited, Kaduna in 1980. Thereafter, he established Calvary Chambers and rendered professional services to public institutions, corporate commercial establishments and individual clients. He also taught Law for 15 years and was the Head of Department of Jurisprudence and Private Law at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria until he joined the services of the Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited in 1998. In Shell, Dr. Ogunyomi served in various capacities including as the Head of the Company’s West Division Legal Department and Lands Litigation Services. He advised on key oil and gas business issues and represented the Company and Nigerian oil majors at various official public proceedings before returning to private legal practice. He is the Head of our Abuja Office.
George’s area of specialization include compliance, anti-corruption and competition law, oil and gas law, insurance and constitutional law.
CLEMENTINA ADEOLA FAKOYA (MISS)
She served the one year compulsory National Youth Service with us in our Kano office. She holds an LL.B (Hons) Degree from the University of Jos and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2004. She obtained a Masters Degree in Business and Commercial Law from the Faculty of Law, Bayero University Kano, in March, 2008.She has since 2004 been with us in Private Legal Practice and is our Resident Counsel in our Abuja Office.
EJIKE-ONYEAMA, INNOCENTIA ADAKU (MRS)
She was called to Nigerian Bar in 2006. She joined our firm in 2010. She holds an LL.B (Hons) Degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago-Iwoye Ogun State. She holds a proficiency certificate in Management. She is a professional investigator and Mediator. She is also a counsel in our Abuja office.
MRS. LYDIA OLUWAKEMI OYEWO
She was called to Nigerian Bar in 2007. She joined our firm in 2008 after her National Youth Service. She holds an LL.B (Hons) Degree of University of Ilorin. She holds Masters Degree in Business and Commercial Law from the Faculty of Law, Bayero University Kano. She is in our Kano Office.
IFEANYI NDUMNEGO PETER
Mr. Peter Ifeanyi Ndumnego is a graduate of the University of Jos from where he obtained a Second Class Upper Degree in Law. He proceeded to the Nigerian Law School where he also came out in Second Class. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2012. He joined our firm in 2012 and currently works in our Abuja Office.
GENESIS FRANCIS
Mr. Genesis Francis is a Civil law graduate from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria from where he graduated in 2011 with a Second Class Degree. He proceeded to serve the nation under the NYSC scheme in 2012 with the Legal Aid Community Development Service Group, in Makurdi, Benue State. He was trained and obtained a certificate as a Mediator and Arbitrator in 2012. He enrolled at the Nigerian Law School (Enugu Campus) and graduated with a Second Class in the year 2013. He was called to the Nigerian Bar on the 29th day of November, 2013. Mr. Francis joined our services as a Counsel in Abuja in January 2014.
UFEDO GRACE TOM-YAKUBU
Miss Ufedo Grace Tom Yakubu graduated from Benue State University, Markurdi and was awarded Bachelor of Laws LL.B. Second Class Honours Degree in June 2013. Thereafter she proceeded to the Nigerian Law School and upon qualifying, was called to the Nigerian Bar and admitted to practice as a Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in October 2014. During her National Youth Service,, Ufedo she was attached to the National Assembly as Legal Officer, NYSC. Ufedo joined our firm upon completion of her service under the NYSC scheme in October 2015.
